How to select and deselect text in ms word ?

You can select any text in Ms word in two ways -

Use keyboard button (shift + arrow) to select text

Use the arrow key with shift to select and deselect a letter / text if the blink insertion is in the beginning of the Cursor pointer text or letter, then right arrow with shift button to select the text and deselect Let's use the left arrow with the shift button. If the blink cursor is at the end of the pointer text, then use the left arrow with the shift button and the right arrow with the shift button to deselect.

Mostly use down arrow and up arrow to select / deselect more than one line of text / sentence / paragraph.

If the blink insertion is at the beginning of the Cursor pointer paragraph text, then use the down arrow with the shift button to select the text and the up arrow with the shift button to deselect. If the blink cursor is at the end of the pointer text, then use the up arrow with the shift button to select the text and the down arrow with the shift button to deselect.

2. Use mouse button to select text

To select a letter / text, use the left button of the mouse. After bringing the I beam mouse pointer to the start of the text, it is deselect when you press the left button of the mouse and drag it to the left to right side and drag to the right to left side. Similarly, the text / sentence of more than one line. To select / deselect / paragraph, after mouse click the left button, drag up to down and down to up.
